Supporting the competitiveness of the rural communities and agricultural companies is important for all countries, and especially important for Moldova with its important agricultural sector.  The EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line supported the company GT Doina Ioana, a specialist in the cultivation of cereals, wheat, sunflower and corn, in upgrading its harvesting equipment. The new harvester allows the company to increase its productivity, produce higher quality output and safeguard the health and security of its workers/equipment operators. In addition, the new machine is more energy efficient.  The new harvester was purchased with a EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line loan using the simple LET approach for standardised equipment. After successful project verification, the company received 10% of the loan amount as a grant cashback, funded under the EU4Business initiative of the European Union.

“Dragos SRL” specializes in trade and distribution of materials and accessories for furniture production, including woodworking services, MDF and plywood, but also metal components.  The company upgraded its machine park with a new automatic machine for furniture production. This investment will improve the quality of the products manufactured, it will increase the speed of production and improve the Health and Safety norms in the factory.

The investment project was financed with a EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line loan, where the company followed the simple LET process for standard technologies. After successful project verification the company receives 10% of the loan value as a grant incentive, funded under the EU4Business initiative of the European Union.

“Marsof Logistics” – a freight forwarding company invests in purchase of a new semitrailer, improves the service quality and manages to meet the EU directive of environmental protection.  Transportation of goods between Moldova and the EU is playing an increasingly important role.  With the improved transportation equipment. Marsof Logistics has improved its quality promise as an international transportation company but has also enhanced its domestic services and services to Moldovan companies exporting to Europe.

The investment was realized with a EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line loan, where the company followed the simple LET process for standard technologies. SC Marineanca-Agro SRL invested in new tractors and seeders and benefits from reduced fuel consumption, reduced pollutant emissions and moves closer to meeting EU Standards. The company took a EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line loan and, because the equipment chosen was standardized, it chose the fast and simple LET process. After successful verification, the company received a 10% grant.
