WT Agroprofi SRL offers a wide range of agricultural equipment

WT Agroprofi” SRL was founded in 2013 and is the official and exclusive representative of the American company CASE IH in Moldova. The company is importing, selling and providing repair and maintenance services for agricultural equipment (tractors, combines, sprayers).

In order to strengthen its position in the Moldovan market and to develop a long-term relationship with agricultural producers in Moldova, the company developed an investment project with the EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line, focusing on increased competitiveness.

WT Agroprofi SRL  invested in energy efficient equipment: Podem MT308 3.2ton crane, lighting/security systems and sandwich panels for its warehouses, resulting in improvements of the occupational health and safety aspects related to distribution, service and warehousing processes. The investment also improved product quality and safety and ultimately enables the company to meet the highest customers’ requirements.

For this purpose, the company applied for a EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line loan and additional the company received free-of-charge technical support from the team of international experts.

After the successful project verification, the Company received 15% of the loan amount as a grant cashback, funded under the EU4Business initiative of the European Union.

Furthermore, as a result of project implementation the company now meets a wide variety of European standards:

      • Directive 2006/42/EC on machinery and amending Directive 95/16/EC
      • Directive 2014/35/EU relating to electrical equipment designed for use within certain voltage limits
      • Directive 2014/30/EU relating to electromagnetic compatibility (recast).
      • Directive 89/391/EEC introducing the Measures to Encourage Improvements in the Safety and Health of Workers at Work
      • Regulation (EU) 2016/425 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2016 on personal protective equipment and repealing Council Directive 89/686/EEC
      • Directive 2009/104/EC concerning the Minimum Safety and Health Requirements for the Use of Work Equipment by Workers at Work
      • Directive 2008/98/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 November 2008 on waste and repealing certain Directives
      • Directive 89/654/EEC – workplace requirements of 30 November 1989 concerning the minimum safety and health requirements for the workplace (first individual directive within the meaning of Article 16 (1) of Directive 89/391/EEC
